House rule

Dear guests,

We built this holiday accommodation with a lot of hard work, effort and attention to detail. We want to maintain the quality of our offering at a high level over the long term and attach great importance to ensuring that all guests feel comfortable from the beginning to the end of the season. Therefore, we ask that you treat your vacation rental with the same respect that you would your own home. They make a significant contribution to ensuring that we can offer you and other guests a great temporary home and therefore a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. With the binding reservation/booking (through the deposit paid or at the latest when you move into our apartment, the house rules are deemed to have been read and accepted). Failure to comply with our house rules can lead to immediate, immediate and unilateral termination of the contract (in our case booking) on our part, whereby the full travel price including final cleaning will be retained.

Please do not view our house rules as instructions, but rather as a guide to harmonious coexistence. If something is unclear or you miss something, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp.

We will help you immediately, if necessary on site as quickly as possible. We would be happy to answer your questions and provide you with information about excursion tips, activities, etc. This way, misunderstandings can be avoided right from the start. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also know and comply with the house rules.

As much as sunshine tempts you, the interior furnishings should remain inside the house and not be moved outside or moved. In order to avoid damage, we ask you to refrain from rearranging furnishings and to avoid entering with street shoes.

Damage

Don’t worry: we won’t charge you straight away for every glass or broken plate. Because we know: Nobody intentionally damages things, but something can break in the heat of the moment. We ask you to let us know any small mishaps directly with a photo. The best way is directly via WhatsApp or email. This gives us the opportunity to quickly provide a replacement.

Safety and duty of care

The holiday apartment door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise the existing bars on the front door and the living room window. Since we have installed a locking system, all doors and grilles can be opened and locked with the same key. You can open and close the garage door using the white radio button on the shoe cabinet, which is located in the entrance area when you enter the house.

Environmental Protection

Sustainability and environmental protection play a major role for us. We therefore ask you to use water and electricity sparingly. Make sure you turn off the lights, air conditioning, and all electronic devices when you leave the house.

Kitchen

Since a dirty kitchen doesn’t put a smile on anyone’s face, please only put dishes, pots and cutlery back in the kitchen cupboards when they are clean and dried. To avoid burns, hot pots and other objects should only be placed on tables or worktops using coasters. A cutting board as a base prevents unsightly scratches when cutting vegetables, fruit, etc. Unsightly residue and crusts in the oven and microwave should be removed. Sufficient cleaning products are available to you.

Please empty the fridge/freezer completely before departure.

Bathroom and bedroom

No hygiene products, waste, food leftovers, harmful liquids, fats or the like may be thrown or poured into the shower, washbasin, kitchen sink or toilet, as otherwise unpleasant blockages can occur. These items belong in the designated trash container. Please open the bathroom window for at least an hour after each shower.

Bathroom linen as well as hand towels, shower towels and tea towels are included in the price. These are prepared for the duration of your stay in the house.

The beds will also be freshly made upon your arrival.

If you would like to wash the towels, shower towels, tea towels or bed linen, there is a washer-dryer available in the garage. The water container is connected to the canal and empties fully automatically. There is also a drying rack in the garage next to the washer-dryer.

Ventilate

The apartment must be sufficiently ventilated even in the cold season. By ventilating the room as quickly as possible but sufficiently (approx. 5-10 minutes, several times a day), you reduce mold formation and make a significant contribution to infection protection.

Grilling

In the interest of fire protection, we deliberately avoid grilling with charcoal. In the garden in front of the house we have a high-quality gas grill from Napoleon with grill accessories. To use it, turn on the gas bottle and then press (hold down) one of the controls on the grill. You will then hear directly how the gas flows. Then turn the knob directly to the left and the flame will ignite automatically (a cracking sound will be heard when the flame ignites). Clean the grill after use and then close the gas bottle again. A spare bottle is in the garage.

Disposal

Since we are obliged to separate waste and actively support this, we ask you to help us. Please separate your garbage into paper, residual waste, plastic and used glass. The containers provided for this purpose are located on the way to the beach, at a distance of 50m,dining corner on the right.

Cleaning

If a mishap happens to you (stubborn dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask that you take care of it immediately. We ask you to leave the holiday apartment swept clean when you leave and to put all used dishes back neatly in the cupboards. There is also a vacuum cleaner available in the holiday home. You can find this next to the washer-dryer in the garage. Please avoid hard-to-remove makeup stains on towels and bed linen. If the ladies would like to dry themselves off after removing their make-up, please use the dark towels provided.

Since we have unfortunately had a few unpleasant experiences in the past that involved considerable, incalculable effort, in the future we will carry out an inspection tour upon departure in order to check the points listed at the end of the house rules and the general condition of the house. If one or more points apply, we take the liberty of calculating this accordingly according to the attached price list. These expenses must be paid directly on site and in cash. If defects are only discovered after departure, you will be sent the invoice including photos as evidence.

Rest periods

We like our neighbors and they like us. Help us to keep it that way. Please respect the community and try to observe general quiet times such as lunch, night and Sunday rest and avoid loud noise between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Lunchtime is also sacred to the Spaniards. So please try to be considerate of the neighborhood between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Party/overnight guests

We are not suitable as a party or event location.

Persons not reported are not permitted to stay overnight in the accommodation.

Internet/WiFi

Use of the Internet is free of charge for you, but you do so at your own risk. The WiFi codes required for this can be found on the magnetic board in the hallway area.

Smoker

Smoking is not allowed in the house. However, you can use them outdoors, e.g. B. smoke on the balcony or terrace, as well as in the garden. Please dispose of all cigarette butts in the ashtray provided.

Pets

Bringing dogs is allowed. We allow a maximum of two dogs.

However, please do not let them on the furniture, especially sofas and beds, or in the pool. If you would like to cool down your dog, you are welcome to use the outdoor shower.

We even provide you with extra shower towels for your dogs. A shower shampoo for dogs can also be found in the garage. Your animal’s excrement in the garden or in the area around the holiday apartments must be disposed of immediately and then cleaned with water on the paved and tiled terraces. Hose carts are located on all sides of the house. Please also remove any dirt left by your pet in the apartment.

Please send us the liability insurance for your dog(s) by email before your arrival. Please also note that female dogs in heat must wear trousers inside the house. The same applies to male dogs who like to mark. You can find corresponding panties, for example: on Amazon.

Key

You will receive two keys for the object. Please never give the keys away. Please notify us immediately if you lose any keys. Please understand that we have to charge replacement costs of €450.00 as this is a locking system made especially for the property. If you have key loss insurance, this will cover it.

Liability

The landlord is not liable for valuables belonging to the guest(s). In the bedroom on the 1st floor there is a safe for storing your valuables. Parents are responsible for their children. Dog owner for your dog.

House rules

If repairs/services are required immediately (e.g. gardener), it may be essential that the landlord or service provider must enter the holiday accommodation during your stay. Of course, we will, if possible, announce the entry to the accommodation or property in advance and discuss this with you.

Arrival and departure

Please check in between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the day of arrival and leave the holiday accommodation between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the day of departure. This gives us enough time to ensure that every guest has clean accommodation to enjoy.
